Churches
We believe healthy marriages help build healthy families and stronger local churches. Bridge Builder Marriage Ministry specializes in marriage and relationship ministry, bringing years of counseling experience, ministry leadership, and biblical training to the churches we serve.
We partner with churches through marriage conferences, biblical teaching, counseling support, leadership training, and practical resources. We also help church leaders establish, strengthen, and grow an effective marriage ministry within their congregation.
To help churches move beyond a single marriage event, we created a nine-week small-group marriage curriculum designed specifically for use in the local church. The curriculum gives churches a practical framework for facilitating marriage groups, developing meaningful conversations between couples, and helping husbands and wives apply biblical principles to everyday marriage.
Our goal is to help churches build an ongoing culture of marriage health. From preparing couples for marriage to strengthening healthy marriages and helping marriages in crisis, we provide the training, resources, and support churches need to effectively minister to couples at every stage of marriage.
Counseling
Whether you are preparing for marriage, struggling with communication and conflict, or wondering if your marriage can be saved, you do not have to figure it out alone. Steven and Melisa provide Christ-centered biblical counseling that helps couples identify what is not working, understand God’s design for marriage, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
Their unique couple-to-couple counseling model allows husbands and wives to receive the perspective, support, and experience of both a husband and wife in the counseling room. Together, they help couples improve communication, resolve conflict, rebuild connection, and learn how to love smarter, not harder. Conferences
Bridge Builder Marriage Ministry provides one- to three-day marriage conferences designed to help couples strengthen their relationship and build a marriage grounded in God’s design. Steven and Melisa combine biblical teaching, practical marriage tools, personal experience, and honest conversation to address the real issues couples face. Couples leave with strategies they can immediately apply to communication, conflict, connection, intimacy, and everyday married life.
Bridge Builder partners with churches and organizations to provide marriage conferences tailored to the needs of their couples and communities. Whether the goal is strengthening healthy marriages, reconnecting struggling couples, or creating a stronger culture of marriage within the local church, each conference is designed to move couples beyond inspiration and give them practical tools for lasting change.
Melisa is also a Bible teacher and conference speaker with a passion for helping women know God, understand His Word, and live from their identity and purpose in Christ.
